What is the PTA?
The PTA is an organization that serves as a type of forum where parents, teachers, administrators, and other concerned adults discuss ways to promote quality education, strive to expand the arts, encourage community involvement, and work for a healthy environment and safe neighborhoods.
What does the Center Street PTA do?
We provide financial support for in school cultural arts presentations, Arts-In-Education programs, and author visits, just to name a few. The PTA also runs the book fairs, school spirit days, PARP and Family Fun Night among other events. The PTA also grants money to the school for the purchase of items to benefit the children. In the past we have donated smart boards, playground equipment and most recently a greenhouse and trough sink for our new Outdoor Learning Center.
