Students Share Value of Community Service with Senator Martins

Before the break, New York State Senator Jack Martins visited the students in the Center Street Community Service Club, who had organized a Toy Drive to support of NYU Langone Pediatric patients. This marks the fourth year that the club has participated in the toy drive.

During his visit, Senator Martins took the time to discuss the importance of service, contributing to the community and assisting those in need. He also encouraged students to share other ways to make a positive impact, to which one student replied, "By helping someone smile!"

We are grateful to Senator Martins for taking the time to visit our students and for sharing with them the importance of civic duty and community service.
